OUR SOCIAL PROJECTS & ACTIVITIES

Our overarching goal at Haven of Living Hope is to extend compassionate care, unwavering support, and protective shelter to a total of 100 children, ages 5 to 14. Within this ambit, 15 will find their home within our nurturing haven, while 85 will be embraced through our innovative home-based care program.

Within the walls of our home, a dedicated team ensures the well-being of our children. This compassionate team comprises a director, social workers, a vigilant security officer, and a caring matron attendant, collectively creating an environment conducive to growth, learning, and security.

Beyond our home, our commitment extends to empowering families. We envision a future where guardians are equipped with essential skills in farming and business through our planned training programs. This initiative aims to provide financial stability, enabling them to confidently sustain and nurture the children within the familiar embrace of their own homes. It is our belief that by uplifting guardians, we strengthen the foundation for a brighter future for the children we collectively care for.

COUNSELING

Counseling and Spiritual Nourishment is a core pillar of our mission, providing guidance, emotional support, and a safe space for healing and growth.

Offering adequate shelter

We provide safe, secure, and supportive living environments where individuals can find stability, comfort, and a sense of belonging. Through this, we create a foundation for healing, growth, and a better future.

Medical Services

We support preventive care, basic medical attention, and health education to promote overall well-being. Through compassionate and reliable services, we help restore health, dignity, and hope.

Clothing

We provide essential garments to meet basic needs while promoting self-worth and a sense of belonging. Through this, we help individuals feel valued, comfortable, and ready to face each day with renewed hope.

Providing keys for self – reliance

Through training, mentorship, and capacity-building programs, we equip them to make informed decisions and pursue meaningful livelihoods. This foundation fosters confidence, resilience, and long-term personal and economic growth.

Recreation facilities.

Recreation Facilities play an essential role in promoting physical health, mental well-being, and social interaction among individuals. We provide safe and engaging spaces where people can relax, play, and build positive relationships within the community.

Emotional acceptance of the child.

We create a loving and supportive environment where every child feels valued, heard, and understood without judgment. Through consistent care and affirmation, we help children develop confidence, emotional stability, and a positive identity.

Challenges

We have been running the orphanage with limited donations. We therefore have limited resources to take care of our children. Day by day the needs of our children and facilities are increasing and we need additional support from donors and philanthropists. In the meantime, we will continue to mobilize continuous local donations through exhibiting our good work and services

Summary

This project is aimed at impacting children by giving them a new lease of life, boosting their confidence level, gaining life skills and eventually becoming productive citizens. We hope to inspire them by philanthropy. We believe that by impacting the life of the boy child, they in turn build better families which result in better societies.
